Her story is a beauty and her vocals are brilliant. Delta Goodrem is only 23 and has been one of Aussie’s top artists since her teen years. Throughout her young life this Australian singer/songwriter has achieved the type of success, most only dream of, as well as overcome tremendous hurdles upon being diagnosed with a life threatening illness at the height of her Australian and UK success in 2003.  Winning her battle with Hodgkin Lymphoma only strengthened her passion for her craft of music which had always been there for the good times in her life and had continued to be there at the hardest moments too. Yesterday I met with the amazing singer at the China Club in New York City. She performed at this small and intimate club setting for theWPLJ radio station sponsored invite only event. Oozing with talent her set had everyone smiling and singing along with her.  Seeing her in such a small setting was an amazing treat considering she sells out stadiums back home.  Her voice is a gift in par with the greats like Celine Dion and Olivia Newton John. She stunned and delighted the audience when she closed the set with a cover of Alannah Myles #1 1990 hit Black Velvet.
