Rihanna Reacts To Rebelle Fleur Tattoo Criticism

Rihanna was probably really excited when she got her new tattoo, which spells “Rebelle Fleur” on her neck. ¬†But then, things got dicey when various sites reported that her tattoo featured a French grammatical error. ¬†Working under the assumption that Rihanna meant the phrase to mean “Rebellious Flower,” sources pointed out that it was grammatically incorrect in French.

Rihanna reportedly sent a text message to her tattoo artist that said, “Rebelle fleur translates to rebel flower, not rebelious flower, it’s two nouns so in that case fleur does not have to be first!” Well said.

It doesn’t matter if it’s supposed to mean “rebel flower” or “rebellious flower”. Being French myself, I can tell you that “rebelle fleur” is totally wrong. Anf if I had to translate “rebel flower”, I would still go for “fleur rebelle”. Sorry Rihanna, I love your music and your look, but this tattoo is just ridiculous !
