Bloginity’s Most Wanted Model List – Top Models

Here’s a list of models Bloginity loves seeing and covering. That said, we would love to see more work coming from these models. Our fashion & beauty team has been keeping a close eye on a list of them that has been making our headlines this past year or so. Aside from the Victoria’s Secret angels which also made this listing (Candice Swanepoel, Miranda Kerr, Rosie Huntington Whitely, Erin Heatherton) we have included several others who we rarely see and when we do, we just want to see need to see more of.

While we do believe many models should have made this listing, but we’ve missed them. We would love to expand on this article as it goes. That said, comment on this article with the model you believe should have made this list and we will add it.

2 – Daria Werbowy

Werbowy had never seriously considered modeling, but found herself launched into the business after meeting schoolmate’s mother who headed Toronto’s Susan J. Model & Talent Management. At age 14, Werbowy won a national modeling contest after a year of working with Susan J. Model & Talent, however, Werbowy thought she could be doing more with another agency and left. After switching over to Elite Models, Werbowy began landing several prominent bookings in Canada but still had not achieved much international success.

Daria lived in London and Greece, where ‘there were loads of castings, but no work.’ Her first runway season was disrupted and her bookings canceled after the 9/11 attacks in New York City. After a disappointing eight months Werbowy returned to Canada. She gave modeling a final shot as a means to fund for her art school education.

‘I returned to New York, met my agent and the next day I had an exclusive deal with Prada. From then on it was all a bit of a blur.’

That’s right! Mick Jaggers daughter! Georgia May Jagger is tipped to be Britain’s next top model because it’s obviously in her blood. Georgia has posed in a series of super sexy shots for Hudson Jeans which Bloginity has recently covered. Georgia was picked for the role because label bosses felt she epitomised the brand.
13 – Alessandra Ambrosio

Ambrósio was just eight years old when she decided that she wanted to be a model, after seeing a picture of top covergirl Karen Mulder in a magazine: “I wanted to be like her”, she recalls.
