Dr. Luke – the über-producer behind Katy Perry, Ke$ha, and more – nominated for “Producer of The Year” at 53rd Annual Grammy Awards

Dr. Luke, one of the top producers of the decade according to Billboard Magazine, winner of 17 ASCAP Awards, and writer of 19 #1 songs in the last five years is nominated for Producer of the Year at this year’s Grammy Awards ceremony for his work in 2010 with Katy Perry, Ke$ha, Taio Cruz, and B.O.B.

Katy Perry’s album “Teenage Dream” is also nominated for Album of the Year, which Dr. Luke served as executive album producer.

Billboard’s 2010 year-end charts named Dr. Luke both #1 Producer of the Year and #1 Songwriter of the Year. Dr. Luke has already been featured in NPR Morning Edition, Los Angeles Times, Ad Age, New York Magazine, Rolling Stone, and Village Voice.

This year, Dr. Luke has been working as executive producer on Britney Spears’ forthcoming album.
