Chicago magazine is known for its expert opinion on dining, culture, fashion—and now—beautiful people. For the March issue, Chicago’s editors scoured the city in search of Chicagoland’s best-looking people. Using a subjective and utterly nonscientific process, they came up with the definitive list of the “50 Most Beautiful Chicagoans.” Among the list of lookers are Chicago Blackhawks star Patrick Sharp, Grammy Award winner Jennifer Hudson, and entrepreneur Bill Rancic.
The issue, which boasts two alternating covers, hits newsstands Thursday. This must-read edition features in-depth Q&As, profiles, and gorgeous photography of this year’s list of eye-catchers, including chef Jess De Guzman, anchor Anna Davlantes, and restaurateur Ty Fujimura. Plus, Hudson reveals who she thinks is beautiful, why she decided to move back to Chicago, and her life as a mom. The group will be honored at a cocktail reception on Tuesday, March 1st at L20.
“We have never done anything like this before, so half the fun was figuring it out as we went along,” says Richard Babcock, Chicago’s editor.
“Judging from the flood of nominations we received, Chicago does not want for attractive men and women.”
The March issue also features U-Turn, a look at the University of Chicago after decades of declining enrollment and diminished status. Today, the comeback college has reinvented itself and is a top choice among the country’s brightest would-be collegians.
