2 lbs. potatoes
1 cup cream
5 tbsp. butter
3 cups chopped cabbage
1/2 cup minced scallions

Put potatoes in large pot and fill with water until level is one inch above potatoes. Bring to a boil and cook for 20 minutes. Remove potatoes from pot and add butter to pot. Fry bacon in separate pan and remove from heat when they are cooked to your preference. When butter is melted in pot, add cabbage. Cook cabbage until wilted, then add scallions and cook for 90 seconds more. Add cream to pot and mix well. Chop bacon into small pieces and add to pot.
