Keanu Reeves has confirmed plans for a third chapter of ‘Bill and Ted’ are well and truly underway.
Keanu has revealed a draft version of the next installment – which he hinted could be as little as six weeks away – may feature the duo going back in time in an attempt to save the world.
He told MTV News: “When we last got together, part of it was that Bill and Ted were supposed to have written the song that saved the world, and it hasn’t happened.
“I know a little bit, but I don’t know – the fellas went off and cooked it up. I don’t know what happened when they put the elements together.”
The ‘Matrix’ actor starred as Ted in both ‘Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey’ and in its 1989 predecessor ‘Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventures’, alongside Alex Winter, who played Bill.
Keanu has previously revealed how he would “love to play the role” again.
