Paula Patton loved doing all her own ‘Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol’ stunts.
The ‘Precious’ actress – who plays a young IMF operative in the movie, which stars Tom Cruise – said it was an “amazing experience” being able to perform spectacular scenes after giving birth to a baby boy in April last year. That’s quite a difference from being pregnant!
She told Cinemablend.com: “‘Mission: Impossible’ came as a surprise. It was an incredible opportunity for me, especially after being pregnant.
“I got to be a very fierce, badass chick, if I can say that. It was a dream come true in many ways to be able to play this character, and she… that’s all I can say! It was great. It was an amazing experience for me.”
The action film is the fourth in the ‘Mission: Impossible’ franchise and also features Tom doing his own stunts – including hanging off the tallest skyscraper in the world, the Burj Khalifa in Dubai – after the film’s director Brad Bird decided it would be better than using special effects.
Brad’s not wrong, and we can’t wait for the movie’s release in December.
