I spend most of my day examining fashion and beauty photography by so many photographers. I rarely come across a photo shoot that leaves an impact on me and when that happens I assure you it’s either a Inez & Vinoodh, Mariano Vivanco or Jamie Nelson.

Nagi Sakai, who I know him as a photographer who shot for Harper’s Bazaar, V Magazine, Vogue Korea, Vogue UK, has really grown with this photo shoot for The Block, S/S 2011 putting him on my list of top 10 Favorite Photographers of 2011. What I’m going to say may cause a dispute but I stand strong by it: This is Vogue material, and Diane is an absolute star here.
