Something about scrunched paper within oil painting that makes it looks so cool. I am still unsure whether it’s realistic painting or if it’s the fact that they’re painting something I know. I had the pleasure of interviewing Steve Elis back in April 2010 who did something similar, I believe the project was called “Torn”. You should check it out if you like this ones as well.
Pablo Guzman is a realistic painter. He involves both characters and architectural references in his pieces. These ones are pretty cool, I think everyone would appreciate them.
