In this editorial shoot for the summer issue of Muse Magazine, French model Constance Jablonski poses for Jenny Gage and Tom Betterton. Constance looks ready to roll in these fresh and relaxed photographs, with elegant casual-wear selected for her by Benjamin Sturgill. These summer selects include pieces from Haider Ackermann, Jil Sander, Dries Van Noten, Balenciaga, Miu Miu, Proenza Schouler, Salvatore Ferragamo and Chanel.
Constance is sun-kissed and captivating in this photo-shoot. She radiates a summery vibe, and her natural make-up, by Darlene Jacobs, perfectly compliments her colorful surroundings. The sandy beaches, open roads and clear sunny skies make for a fantastic location shoot.
My favorite image is where the sunlight reflecting off Constance’s face as she reclines in a car. I love the colors and the lighting in this photograph. It also has a really strong sense of narrative; she is about to drive herself home after a long day at the beach.
Constance really does look faultless as she frolics along the shore and basks in the sunlight. She is even trying her hand at dune buggying, the latest beach craze! Maybe this editorial will do something in the way of encouraging people to get out and about in the sun. But maybe not.
