Seriously, Vogue China is knocking out killer editorials like there is no tomorrow at the moment. So here is Tao Okamoto, paying tribute to Danish beauty Freja Beha Erichsen, with the help of photographer Lachlan Bailey, in this editorial spread titled Handsome Girl. These street-style photographs are a bit rock and roll; they are styled by fashion editor Clare Richardson. Tao is wearing a lot of gorgeous denim and leather designs, by Chanel and Calvin Klein among others. Adding to the rock and roll edge, Tao has perfect red lips and gorgeous smokey eyes, by make-up artist Sally Branka.
Coca-Cola should use this image as an advertisement. I think this is the stand-out image from the series, and I just think is is pretty perfect. It is a wonderful change from the generic rock and roll shoots that are pretty much everywhere at the moment. So Coca-Cola image is definitely my favorite. As well as just being a generally great collection of photographs in terms of photography and style, Tao’s disheveled and tousled hair by Rudi Lewis is looking super-hot.
