A New Designer Shopping E-Commerce Site To Add To Your Shopping List: TheLuxuryEmporium.com

Launched in 2010, TheLuxuryEmporium.com (LE for short) is a fresh e-commerce venture based out of Kilkenny, Ireland. Its brand assortment, curated by founder Lisa Carroll, consists of high-ranking names making waves within fashion’s elite accessories markets. Carroll has made it her mission to position the site as an international go-to source for exquisite and exclusive accessories, offering a hand-selected group of both renown and underground designer brands at the tops of their game.

Lisa Carroll firmly believes in investing in accessories of the highest quality and caliber. To Carroll “accessories are where a woman gets to display something about her singular persona; they allow us to show everything from our sense of whimsy to our love of luxury.”

From runway shoes, handbags, and Phillip Tracey hats to both fine and semi-precious jewelry, The Luxury Emporium’s range of product is tailored to the woman who veres away from fleeting trends in search of eternally stylish, wearable objects of art. Although fairly new to the game, Carroll’s discerning eye is evident. Her anti-department store approach to buying is not without flaw, but the risks she takes are admirable and most times lust-worthy— Pauric Sweeney‘s exotic skins and minimal “mini bags” first come to mind (see here).

Currently LE houses some of high-fashion’s biggest names including: Balmain, Barbara Bui, Giuseppi Zanotti, Proenza Schouler, Rupert Sanderson, Terry De Havilland, and Vionnet.

By spring 2012, Carroll’s collection will reach close to 30 brands. The new bunch will be just as impressive as the first, including; stiletto innovators Camilla Skovgaard, Burak Uyan, and Gianmarco Lorenzi; modern milliner Eugenia Kim; Missoni; the exotic skins of Kara Ross; Katie Rowland; and Tom Binns Designs.

When asked about LE’s style philosophy, Carroll responded:

“I think women today are incredibly resourceful, and intelligent about where and how they spend their money. The 24-hour global economy enables us to be extremely discerning in all matters of e-commerce and fashion. We carefully curate our stock to build a trust between our customers and our buying team in an effort to establish the LE brand as one with a definite stylistic sensibility.”

The site seeks to afford customers the privacy and comfort that isn’t always offered in a brick and mortar boutique, while still preserving the trust and individual feel of specialty shopping destinations. Offering competitive free shipping and returns, the Luxury Emporium team invites risk takers similar to themselves to shop worry free.
