Karl Lagerfeld‘s works are always different from other creators. He is among the pantheon of fashion gods, so it is no wonder then, that the photographs taken by him for Couture Couture shoot, recently published in Harper’s Bazaar magazine, exude a divinely pure quality.
The choice of shooting in black and white, two classical colors inherently elegant adds to the other worldly effect of the shoot. The graceful Candice Swanepoel looks unforgettable in all the clothes. In some photos she reminds of a alabaster demigod, in others a femme fatale. Every photo oozes femininity and exudes elegance, whether draped in Chanel, Dior, Valentino, Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci, or others. It‘s not just an elegant outfit, it‘s Haute Couture and this concept tells everything.
Aiding in the creation of this beautiful shoot were Andrew Richarson, who worked on styling, Sam McKnight, the hair stylist, and makeup artist Val Garland.
