I have had this amazing Tom Ford scent of perfection for a while now, but have held off writing it up. I know that it may seem strange, but I have really wanted to wait till right before the full beauty line launches (I can hardly contain my excitement) since this perfume was launched as a trio of perfumes for his beauty line. Jasmin Rouge and Santal Blush have been written up previously on our site, but Violet Blonde deserves the spotlight.
This scent opens with beautifully with Italian Mandarin, Violet Leaf and Pink Pepper. Then it moves beautifully to the middle notes with Tuscan Orris Absolute, Tuscan Oris Butter, Jasmin Sambac and Sampaquita and finalizes with the phenomenal base notes of Musk, Suede, Cedar, Vetiver and Benzoin.
The fragrance really puts you at ease, almost transcending you back to a time where movie stars were famous for their movies, where life was glamourous and celebrity antics seemed envy worthy. This is a scent that you cannot live without.
As if the scent were amazing enough on it’s own, Lara Stone is the face of Violet Blonde and the campaign was shot stunningly by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.
Make sure that when you go and buy out Tom Ford’s beauty line at Bergdorf’s that you add this must have to your bag.
