Never known to shy away from prints or color, Thakoon Panichgul added a third element to his repertoire for pre-fall. Texture.
In an amazing array of fuzzy wool knits and Mongolian lamb details—as pockets and puffy chest plates—Thakoon presented an interim collection of reinterpreted classics that was tons of fun, but also really approachable.
One of the highlights was definitely the abstract asymmetrical shirt dress toward the end. The look brought it all together, especially Sofya Titova’s summer-colored lips, that will probably become next summer’s biggest beauty trend.
Not ready for the furry pockets just yet? No worries. Thakoon also delivered a great selection of cocktail frocks, including two sublime A-line little black dresses that every girl needs in her closet.
