Diane von Furstenberg Creates Exciting Shop
The designer is unveiling a new concept when her Las Vegas shop at The Forum Shops at Caesars Palace opens its doors in December.
Those involved in the project are adamant it will surprise people and encourage a new way of shopping.
“With an exciting new store concept, DVF will undoubtedly create an exceptional shopping experience and will contribute to on-going strength of our position in the market place,” senior vice president at the company which owns Forum Shops told WWD.
The new store is 1,600 square foot and it is thought its opening will mean the label’s current shop in The Shoppes at the Palazzo will shut down.
Diane’s company hasn’t confirmed that but a spokesperson wouldn’t enter into conversation about it when contacted by the company.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Diane will continue in her role as the president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) until at least 2014.
“Diane has done an excellent job as CFDA president,” CFDA chief creative officer Steven Kolb said. “The time and resources she gives and the vision she has created is a huge benefit for our organization and industry.”
