The daughter of the iconic Missoni fashion clan wed her fiancé Eugenio Amos in a romantic ceremony in the town of Brunello.
The brunette beauty chose a bohemian Giambattista Valli gown made from Missoni silk for the ceremony in the church of Santa Maria Annunciata.
“The bride, daughter of creative director Angela Missoni, selected the romantic church to wed Eugenio Amos, and asked her designer friend Giambattista Valli to fashion the long-sleeve gown made with Missoni silk and organza, and embellished with embroideries and flower applications. Missoni also wore a tiara that held back her veil,” WWD reports.
Margherita was watched by fashion industry icons from all over the world as she said ‘I do’, including the creator of her wedding dress and famous fashion editors Suzy Menkes, Franca Sozzani and Stefano Tonchi.
Her bridesmaids included her sister Teresa, Tatiana Santo Domingo and Eugenie Niarchos. Fitting with the bohemian style of the bride, they wore colorful patterned dresses and flower garlands in their hair.
Guests paid respect to Margherita’s fashion heritage by wearing Missoni designs for the occasion.
