Ralph Lauren enjoys movie screening
Lisa Immordino Vreeland has worked for Ralph and is behind the new documentary Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has To Travel, which is about her grandmother-in-law who was the famed fashion editor. She gathered Ralph and some other fashion bigwigs to screen her work recently.
“Lisa Immordino Vreeland showed off her fashion doc Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has To Travel to Ralph Lauren and 60 of the designer’s family and senior brass Monday at the Park Avenue Screening Room,” reports the New York Post.
Ralph Lauren means a lot to the new filmmaker as she met her husband at the company when she began working in PR for the fashion house.
Diana Vreeland worked at Harper’s Bazaar and was editor-in-chief at Vogue before she became a consultant for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in 1972.
