The fashion designer has a busy life creating new collections for her eponymous label and also working as the president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA).

She understands the importance of winding down though and has found the perfect way to calm herself after a busy day.

“I play scrabble on my iPad to unwind ! Getting addicted, love Diane,” she wrote on Twitter.

Diane is about to get even busier as she is one of a number of designers teaming up with Target.

A group of 24 fashion stars are creating vacation pieces for the retailer, with the outfits available in both Target shops and Neiman Marcus stores.

All those taking part are CFDA members, among them Brian Atwood, Derek Lam, Jason Wu, Rodarte, Prabal Gurung and Oscar de la Renta.

There will be more than 50 items created, priced between $7.99 and $499.99. The ranges of men’s, women’s, children’s clothes as well as accessories will be available from December 1.
