The successful Australian model is known for her supple body and love of stretching exercise yoga, which stems from her first love of gymnastics. As she grew taller as a child her ambitions of becoming a professional sportswoman became less and less likely, while a career as a model became the more obvious option.
“When I was young I wanted to be a gymnast,” Miranda told UK Vogue. “I used to compete at it, but then I grew too tall.”
Miranda didn’t have her heart set on working in fashion when she was young. She ended up being a professional model almost by mistake.
“I never planned it or took it too seriously,” she said. “A friend entered me into a competition when I was 14 but I kept going with school in spite of getting modeling work.”
The multi-talented star, who also has her own range of beauty products, has hinted a singing career may be her next move. She might release an album of her own one day.
“I love singing just for my own benefit,” the star revealed. “I have a friend who writes lyrics and we hang out together and have fun. I grew up sitting beside my grandmother playing the piano and singing. But will there be an album one day? Who knows? It’s not on my schedule right now.”
