Preen will return to London Fashion Week this September after five years of showing in New York.
Design duo Justin Thornton and Thea Bregazzi say they are “delighted” to return to their home city for the first time since their 2007 presentation at Fulham soccer stadium.
The London-based label is known for its sculpted but feminine creations and UK fans of the brand like Sienna Miller will no doubt be happy about the return to its birthplace.
“We are delighted to be part of LFW again, it feels great to back on our own turf,” Thornton and Bregazzi told Vogue.
British fashion insiders are also welcoming Preen back with open arms.
Fashion Council chief executive Caroline Rush said she was looking forward to add the popular brand to the Fashion Week roster.
“It’s great to see the Preen mainline collection returning to show in London, they will be an exciting and much anticipated addition to the LFW schedule,” she said.
