Alexander Wang will be trying a new beauty look at his upcoming Spring/Summer 13 shows.
The designer is due to debut his Spring/Summer 13 line at New York Fashion Week in September. He has a long-running work relationship with MAC make-up, usually opting to create his runway looks with the company’s cosmetics.
According to style.com, Wang is mixing this up this season.
“After a longstanding partnership with MAC, it appears as though Alexander Wang has chosen NARS as his makeup sponsor for Spring 2013,” reports the site.
It’s thought he is sticking with make-up artist Diane Kendal, who usually creates his beauty looks.
Last season, Wang focused on his models’ eyebrows. They were made to stand out without looking overly bushy, so the shape was filled in with pencil and they appeared thick.
Diane spoke about her work with the designer at the end.
“Keeping it quite boyish is the major thing at Alexander Wang,” she said. “It’s all about finding that balance between sexy and androgynous.”
