Christian Louboutin has collaborated with Bella Freud on a capsule collection of knitwear. The footwear legend has created a series of shoe sketches which the fashion designer plans to incorporate onto knitted dresses and jumpers she has designed. Christian said: “I have always loved Bella’s jumpers, so I couldn’t have been happier when she asked me to give her designs which, Bella thought, would look great once knitted.” Bella – who has been friends with Christian for over 20 years – explained she has always admired his sketches and has wanted to use them in her designs for some time.
