Anna Faris could be set for a role in ‘The Dictator’ alongside Sacha Baron Cohen. The ‘Scary Movie’ actress is reportedly in competition with Kristen Wiig and Gillian Jacobs for the female lead role in the movie, which will see ‘Borat’ and ‘Bruno’ director Larry Charles reuniting with Sacha for the production of the motion picture. Anna would be ideal for the part if her ‘Scary Movie’ performances are anything to go by, and she’s recently revealed comedy is for her.

Lauren Conrad has revealed plans to launch her second website in a month. The former ‘Hills’ star has gone one better than last week when she unveiled thebeautydepartment.com – which gives her fans the chance to master popular hair and make-up trends at home – as the fashion designer is now launching LaurenConrad.com so that she can “fully interact with her fans”. Has she not heard of twitter?

Jessica Alba is set to be the new face of Piaget jewelry. The ‘Fantastic Four’ actress – who is pregnant and recently celebrated her 30th birthday – was shown in a teaser video on the brand’s Facebook page, but it was not clear that the new ambassador was definitely her.

Jayne Lynch will star alongside Sofia Vergara in the ‘Three Stooges’ movie. The ‘Glee’ actress – who plays Sue Sylvester in the Fox musical-comedy series, which also features Lea Michele and Dianna Agron – will also act alongside titular trio Chris Diamantopoulos, Will Sasso and Sean Hayes. ‘Role Models’ actress Jayne will play the Mother Superior of an orphanage who has been trying to get the trio adopted, but without success – and that’s not a surprise if Jayne’s character is anything like the outspoken cheerleading coach she plays in ‘Glee’

Javier Bardem is reportedly set to star in ‘The Dark Tower’. The ‘No Country For Old Men’ actor – who is believed to have beaten competition from Hugh Jackman and Daniel Craig for the role – will play the part of gunslinger Roland Deschain in the movie adaptation of Stephen King’s book series of the same name. A source told ‘The New York Post’: “Bardem has signed on to the first movie and the miniseries, but the intention is that he will star in all the movies and each of the TV series.
