Watch The Throne has also broken the record for the all-time highest 1st week sales on iTunes in the U.S. with nearly 290,000 units sold, besting the previous record held by Coldplay and hitting #1 on iTunes worldwide in all 23 global territories within 24 hours.

After designing the cover for the album’s first outing, ‘H.A.M’, in 2010, Riccardo Tisci chose to create this new artwork to celebrate one of the biggest joint efforts in music history.

Kanye West is to design a scarf range, based on his album images. The ‘Stronger’ rapper has been inspired by his 2010 album ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’, and why stop with scarves when there is a whole world of fashion out there waiting for Kanye’s magic touch. He is starting off small, as just 250 scarves will be made for Parisian company M/M based on five of the ‘Heartless’ singer’s designs

Amidst bottles and bottles of champagne, Jay-Z announced that his collaborative album with Kanye West, titled Watch The Throne, will be released next week. For any hardcore rap fans, this album is obviously a must buy. It’s almost the equivalent of U2 and The Rolling Stones collaborating on an album…almost. This is not the first time that Jay-Z and Kanye have collaborated, and unless this album does not sell well (which is pretty unlikely), it will most likely not be the last.

Kanye West caused a big stir with My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy – and not just because the album has earned countless five-star reviews (read Bloginity’s review right here). Kanye West also caused a big stir with the My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy album cover, which features some artistic nudity. But the rapper insists he didn’t choose the cover to cause a stir, but because it spoke to him, artistically.

It’s a shame that T.I. will be locked up when No Mercy drops, because this one is worthy of a raucous release party. Although No Mercy isn’t flawless, it shows a lot of growth from T.I., as he digs deep and delivers big on many of the tracks. T.I. shares his innermost thoughts but shows that he hasn’t forgotten how to have fun, either. Despite the impressive cast of guests, T.I. rises above the rest and stands out on every song. No Mercy offers something for everyone, with steamy club bangers as well as more serious, cerebral and honest explorations of the imprisoned rapper’s life.

T.I.’s new album, No Mercy, leaked to the internet today. The album, formerly titled King Uncaged, features a number of big name guests, including Kanye West, Eminem, Drake, Pharrell, Chris Brown and Christina Aguilera. T.I.’s new album is set for a December 7 release, but No Mercy leaks emerged late on Cyber Monday. You can pre-order the album here.

Being Kanye West’s media trainer could be one of the most difficult positions in all of media. Kanye West is at the top of the rap game, knows it, and doesn’t have qualms about letting everyone else know, too. In a word, West can be blunt, which doesn’t always go over well, and is often the reason that West is misunderstood.

In his latest appearance on MTV, Kid Cudi stated that he no longer gets as much of a thrill as he once did from rapping. The passion once there is fading, and been for a while, Kid Cudi said. The (former?) rapper went on to say that he has a “new-found love” in playing guitar and song writing. He explained that he’s been doing both for several months behind the scenes and unveiled the name of his new rock group, Wizards. Kid Cudi said this would be his main project as he takes a hiatus from rapping.

When Kanye West talked about sending out e-mails with pictures of his manhood in the song “Runaway” (download here), we thought he was just being poetic. Turns out he was telling the truth. Radar Online claims to have seen the photos, though the website has (thankfully) not yet posted the nude Kanye West pictures.

It seems like every time Kanye West hits the studio he brings along an entire posse. This time, for the track “Lord Lord Lord,” which you can download free here, Kanye hooked up with Mos Def, Raekwon, Swizz Beatz and Charlie Wilson.
