Dress for a cause with Julie Haus.
by Julia Dalton
Fabulous designer Julie Haus is selling an incredibly meaningful design and she is doing it for a great cause. Julie has designed the “Show of Hope” dress and she is giving $50 from each purchase to various cancer charities. As Julie’s website states “The Show the Hope” dress is a 100% silk dress made from a custom digital print of an Echinacea flower. Echinacea according to some medical studies has been able to increase white blood cell counts in some cancer patients. Whether or not this is true, is not why the flower was chosen, but rather the idea that the flower represents the hope that there will be a cure.”
Like most of us, both Julie, and her wonderful husband and business partner, Jason have had loved ones affected by various forms of cancer. Because of that, numerous cancer charities have been chosen. “Charities that aim to fight melanoma, breast cancer, colon cancer, prostate cancer, and charities that help survivors cope with the overwhelming financial burden will be the recipients.”
The “Show of Hope” dress can be purchased for $298 from Julie’s website as well as her retail location at 458 Broome St, New York ,NY 10013.
