James Franco signs up to star in and produce The Stare
James Franco has signed up to act in and produce ‘The Stare’.
As well as the ‘Your Highness’ star, keep your eyes peeled for ‘Black Swan’ actress Winona Ryder in the movie – which will begin shooting on May 6 in New York – as she is set to play a playwright who is suffering from mental problems and tries to start a new production, which stars James’ character.
James – who was nominated for a number of awards for his lead performance in ‘127 Hours’ – will meet a familiar face when he starts filming for ‘The Stare’, because Jay Anania, who worked with the actor in ‘Shadows And Lies’, will direct the motion picture.
The psychological movie drama – which is the first project for newly-founded production company Waterstone Entertainment – is yet another project for the busy actor, who is set to star with Mila Kunis in Disney’s ‘Wizard of Oz’ prequel.
