Prince William and Kate Middleton to Have Jay-Z, Beyonce at Reception

by Brian Willett

It’s only a rumor at this time, but word on the street is that Prince William and Kate Middleton may have another power couple, Jay-Z and Beyonce, performing at the royal wedding reception. If you’re like us, you can definitely draw the connection between English royalty and American hip hop, so Prince William and Kate Middleton rocking out to Jay-Z and Beyonce totally makes sense. You know the Queen is secretly a fan of HOVA.

According to (of course) an unnamed source, Prince William and Kate Middleton have tapped Jay-Z and Beyonce to perform “Crazy in Love” at the reception because of their high profile in the music business.

“They really wanted to make their big day even more special,” the source said of Prince William and Kate Middleton. “What better way than by getting pop royalty to perform at the party?”

The timing could work out, as the musical couple are in Europe promoting Beyonce’s music. Personally, we’re rooting for a special royalty-themed remix: “British Empire State of Mind”.
