OCC Cosmetic Lip Tars. Oh how I love thee, let me count the ways. I love you for your beautiful deep pigmented colors, I love you for your amazing staying power, I love you for how absolutely little product is needed to cover an absolutely fabulous lip, I love you for your phenomenal unassuming ingredients like Castor Oil, Hemp Oil, Peppermint Oil, Vitamin E and Colorants, I love you for being able to be perfectly blendable and for making colors for that exact purpose and I love you for your ‘sell your soul to the devil’ staying power. You are a product not to be reckoned with and that is why you are on my top picks for June.

If you are in NYC, there is only one place to go to get your hair cut, colored and beautified and that is Michael Angelo’s Wonderland Beauty Parlor. The name alone draws you in, but when you step in it is like you have fallen asleep from the steps outside and woken up in your perfect beauty dream land. The decor is beautiful and wild (Michael Angelo has received international acclaim within the design world for Wonderland) and the list of talented hair and makeup artists there is just that, talent. If their resumes aren’t enough to make you want to go then their cuts and color and fabulous acclaim certainly will. The owner, Michael Angelo, is the kindest of the kind and has people flying from all around the globe just to get a cut from him. He has worked with too many celebrities, musicians, actors and supermodels to count and his work has appeared on the covers and in the pages of nearly every major fashion magazine. There is a fabulous shop in the front of the store and the decor is reason alone to make the trip.

Stop right now. Seriously, stop what you are doing, go to the store and buy Kevyn Aucoin The Sensual Skin Enhancer. This product is perfection in a little, beautiful jar. But, don’t let the fact that it is in a small package fool you. You need the tiniest amount and you are good to go. I use this for both concealer and also sheer it down and use it on clients as a foundation. This is truly the greatest concealer I’ve ever used. I’ve used this on the nearly perfect skin all the way to covering a nasty bruise and it looks beautiful all over. Note: Make sure to play with the product a bit and really learn how to use it, it will be worth it.

You look like you’re glowing? Well then you must be using the amazing Lorac Perfectly Lit Oil-Free Luminizing Powder. This stunning highlighter is so beautiful and it works perfectly with your skin giving it a soft and natural glow. Whether I’m running out the door and using a tinted moisturizer and use this to add an extra beautiful wow or using it on set with serious HD cameras that go much deeper than the eye can see this product never fails me. This product is certainly an everyday makeup bag must have.

Obsessed with this new (relaunched) Tom Ford Neroli Portofino collection. It is bringing style, class and sophistication back with just a smell. The packaging is stunning and enticing and the products are true to Tom Ford form. I’ve tried numerous products in this line and one is better than the next (shower gel and perfume are MUSTS). The scent is named for the resort town on the Italian riviera and you will swear you’re there if you allow yourself a moment to let this scent sink in. This is the perfect collection to start your summer off right.
Collection starts at $35 (soap), click here to buy.
On set I am always in need of things to move as quickly as possible. So, I need products that work with me, work well and work quickly, the Pro Silk Gold Flat Iron is one of those products. It heats up within seven seconds to an amazing 435F degrees and works like magic and the heat distribution is excellent. Personally, the 1″ is what I always take to a job, but their whole line of Flat Irons are phenomenal.
