Karlie Kloss Takes To New York City

by Alice Byrne

We have seen a fair amount of mod-inspired fashion editorials gracing the pages of fashion publications recently, and this editorial shot by photographer Arthur Elgort is certainly one of the best from the bunch. The shoot stars a mod-styled Karlie Kloss, who takes to the streets of New York City for the September issue of Vogue Japan.

Styled by Giovanni Battaglia, Karlie is dressed in colorful, eye-popping looks from the likes of Alberta Ferretti, Lanvin, Prada and Calvin Klein among many others. Karlie takes part in various mundane day-to-day city activities, such as walking her dog, signing for flowers and pushing the baby’s stroller, looking top-to-toe glamourous as she does so. In particular, we completely love the photograph of Karlie standing in front of the parked taxi’s, the use of colour here is perfect and really makes this image stand out from all the others in the series.
