Michael Jackson Memorial Concert

The “Michael Jackson Forever Tribute Concert” will be held in Wales this Saturday, and although the Black Eyed Peas appeared on the roster, they have pulled out due to “unavoidable circumstances.”

This Saturday, October 8th, marks the commencement of the ‘Michael Jackson Forever Tribute Concert’ held at Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. “Michael gave his entire life to the world through his love, his music and his devotion to healing the planet,” states Katherine Jackson, the late King of Pop’s Mother on the concert’s website. “It is with great gratitude for me to give my complete blessing and full support to what I consider to be the one and only Official Michael Jackson Tribute Concert.”

The show will see performances from great artists of this and past generations, and although the Black Eyed Peas were scheduled to perform as well, according to the Associated Press the group has pulled out due to “unavoidable circumstances.” Fear not, though, because although the Peas would have made a great addition, the “Michael Forever” show will see iconic artists such as Christina Aguilera, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, Leona Lewis and Cee Lo Green. The Peas will be missed, but this concert will still be memorable and worth the trip if you can manage to score a ticket abroad for Saturday’s show.
