U.K. Advertising Authorities Bans Another Fashion Campaign

Hailee Steinfeld Miu Miu ad banned by U.K. advertisers for "irresponsibility"

It’s quite disturbing that one of the countries that I love the most, that supports & breathes fashion perhaps more than the city we reside in (New York City) are banning one of Hailee Steinfeld’s Miu Miu ads.

The U.K’s strange advertising standards authority had banned Marc Jacob’s “Oh, Lola!” featuring Dakota Fanning has also banned this image from Hailee Steinfeld’s Miu Miu campaign because she sits on an unsafe train tracks.

PRADA tried to dissuade them, saying “this is a part of a serious, high-fashion campaign and based on the set of an imaginary film.” they also added that Steinfeild “could have easily moved from where she was sitting because she was not restrained in any way.”

Amy Odell jokes around and says “It’s a good thing they didn’t photograph her on a high barstool, or in a pool without arm floaties, or standing up without knee pads.”
