Alice Dellal Is The Face Of Boy Chanel
by Keesean Moore
Alice Dellal, the half-shaven up-and-comer who’s already landed campaigns for Agent Provocateur, H&M and Calvin Klein, is officially the face of Chanel’s new androgynous and sleek accessories collection, Boy Chanel.
The line veers away from the classic quilted silhouette that has become an iconic symbol of timeless elegance and opts for a look that’s refreshingly unconventional but daring and stylish at the same time.
“Alice Dellal represents the perfect personification of all what is unique about the bag…that tries to distance itself from the conformist idea of femininity” said Karl Lagerfeld to WWD.
Set to be the next IT-bag, Chanel Boy will be available in three sizes, all made in calfskin leather dyed deeper-than-Cartier red, black, cement grey, green and ivory.
