You cannot get more creative and beautiful and inspirational than M.A.C artist Kabuki. It was such a pleasure to see Kabuki’s work on Zac Posen‘s runway. As Kabuki said the look was about “the tradition of Geisha of Japan is re-envisioned as a sleek couture confection. Shades of ultra glamorous stars for a bygone age- Lara Turner, Marlene Dietrich mixed with an edgy new wave angularity”

Complexion:

  • Studio Sculpt SPF 15 Foundation — blended over hydrated skin to even skin tone and texture
  • Studio Finish SPF 15 Concealer — blended over the eyelids as a base
  • Mineralize Skin-finish Natural — chosen in a deeper tone to contour

Eyes:

  • Bare Canvas Paint Pot — blended over the entire eyelid
  • Fascinating Eye Kohl — applied through the upper lash-line and extended outwards
  • Light Touch Pressed Pigments (available Autumn/Winter 2012) — swept across eyelids
  • Smolder Eye Kohl — applied through the waterline of lower lashes, and then extended outwards to elongate eyes with 266 Small Angle Brush
  • Expensive Pink Eye Shadow — shaded through the crease of the eye Haux Eye Shadow — shaded through the inner crease and brow
  • Lingering Eye Brows — shapes and sculpts brows

Lips:

  • Cherry Lip Pencil — defines and contours the lip
  • M∙A∙C Pro Crimson and Red Lipmix mixed with M∙A∙C Pro Gloss Texture — blended over the lips for a glossy red, lacquered effect

Nails:

  • Flaming Rose Nail Lacquer (available Autumn/Winter 2012) — chosen for it’s neutral perfection and match to the glossy lip
