GQ has released its Men of the Year list, giving a nod to five individuals who contributed to society (or at least entertainment) during 2010. In the pictures below, you can see the GQ Men of the Year: Drake, Steven Colbert, James Franco, Jeff Bridges and…Scarlett Johansson. Yes, Scarlett Johansson made the Men of the Year list as the “babe of the year,” which seems a bit confusing.

Being Kanye West’s media trainer could be one of the most difficult positions in all of media. Kanye West is at the top of the rap game, knows it, and doesn’t have qualms about letting everyone else know, too. In a word, West can be blunt, which doesn’t always go over well, and is often the reason that West is misunderstood.

When you release a song called “F*ck You,” you’re bound to get a lot of attention for your upcoming album. Of course, for a musician of Cee Lo Green’s stature, getting attention shouldn’t really be an issue.

In his latest appearance on MTV, Kid Cudi stated that he no longer gets as much of a thrill as he once did from rapping. The passion once there is fading, and been for a while, Kid Cudi said. The (former?) rapper went on to say that he has a “new-found love” in playing guitar and song writing. He explained that he’s been doing both for several months behind the scenes and unveiled the name of his new rock group, Wizards. Kid Cudi said this would be his main project as he takes a hiatus from rapping.

No, you’re not reading that incorrectly. This is another Weezer release, mere weeks after Hurley hit stores. Weezer’s Death To False Metal is a b-side collection, but anyone who is familiar with Weezer’s history (or just remembers tracks like “Waiting on You,” “Devotion” and “Tragic Girl”) knows that what doesn’t make a Weezer album is often as excited as what does. In the case of Death To False Metal, this is true – Weezer shows a wide variety of sounds on this album.

O’Spada has a poppy, upbeat sound, but this band is a lot different from your average pop act. Unlike most of the manufactured musical acts dominating the airwaves today, O’Spada packs an intense level of passion into each song, and the difference is obvious.

In a surprising turn of events, there is a pending musical plagiarism lawsuit that doesn’t involve Coldplay. This time, it’s Red Hot Chili Peppers who may be suing Diana Vickers, as her song “My Wicked Heart” is said to bear too much of a resemblance to the RHCP classic “Under the Bridge.” Are the songs too similar? You can check them out in the videos below.

When Kanye West talked about sending out e-mails with pictures of his manhood in the song “Runaway” (download here), we thought he was just being poetic. Turns out he was telling the truth. Radar Online claims to have seen the photos, though the website has (thankfully) not yet posted the nude Kanye West pictures.

It seems like every time Kanye West hits the studio he brings along an entire posse. This time, for the track “Lord Lord Lord,” which you can download free here, Kanye hooked up with Mos Def, Raekwon, Swizz Beatz and Charlie Wilson.

For someone who just released an album, Tamar Kaprelian is surprisingly grounded. And perhaps that is also why Tamar’s music has an undeniable sense of honesty and sincerity. The talented singer introduces a flurry of emotion on Sinner Or A Saint, but whatever the mood, it never feels manufactured or forced. In this Bloginity exclusive interview, Tamar discusses her album as well as her inspirations, and divulges some secrets about her personal life.

Evidently, Lady Gaga chose the MTV VMA 2010 show to illustrate her new movement in fashion – that clothing should be tasty as well as stylish. The Lady Gaga meat dress married fashion and function in a carnivorous sartorial delight. Although PETA probably didn’t appreciate the Lady Gaga meat dress, Bloginity sure did. And we were so inspired by Lady Gaga’s meat dress that we’ve prepared a special MTV VMA 2010 recipe: Lady Gaga Kebabs.
