The meaning of the name Henrik is “Lord of the House.” In Henrik Adamsen’s case, it should really be “Lord of the Lens.” By trade, Adamsen is a fashion photographer, but any description short of artist really doesn’t seem appropriate.
Boogie will blow your mind. The native of Belgrade, Serbia got his start began documenting rebellion and unrest during the civil war that ravaged his country in the 1990s, and the experience seemed to have a profound effect not only on him, but on his work as well. Though Boogie now resides in New York – he arrived in 1998 – all of his work still carries the urgency and thought-provoking depth of a war-torn country.

It’s been two years since Hawthorne Heights last released an album, and it seems as though the boys from Ohio have matured a lot in the interim. The band’s latest work, Skeletons offers a broader sound than Hawthorne Heights has displayed before.
I won’t bore you with the details but suffice it to say it was a great day and I received many cool gifts, one of which was the xbox 360 version of Red Dead Redemption.
Jay-Z adds a verse to a newly remixed version of “XXXO” off of M.I.A.’s upcoming and highly anticipated new album, ///Y/. The song is more electro-pop than politically charged hip-hop and with Hov lending his skills, it’s reminiscent of the duo’s first collaboration at the 2009 Grammy Awards with their version of “Swagga Like Us.”
